| Job Description: Logistics Manager: MUST HAVE CPG (CONSUMER PACKAGED GOODS) BACKGROUND! Job Description: • Attainment of daily operational goals & objectives, including execution, receiving, inventory control, customer service and maintenance for an organic baby food company. • Assure prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of finished goods inventory & raw materials by implementing & evaluating key performance levels to improve the productivity, timeliness and accuracy of deliveries to stores. • Lead continuous process improvement and optimization efforts of distribution centers, transportation networks & systems. • Ensure compliance with all company & facility policies & procedures. Job Requirements: Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, minimum 7 years experience in logistics, warehouse or industry related field is preferred. • Advanced level skills in: MS Word & Excel (keyboard short cuts, creating macros, merge queries, templates table techniques) • Knowledge/Experience in shipping, receiving and inventory management, distribution preferred). • Strong planning, analytical, time management & organizational skills, including excellent oral & written communication skills. • Ability to analyze data associated with processes, identify opportunity & provide recommendations for improvement, by possessing strong technical & solid business analytical skills: in depth knowledge of current technologies & concepts & its application in the distribution process. Responsibilities: • Attainment of productivity goals, while resolving customer issues • Safety Management & reporting • Actively manage inventory controls • Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control • Oversee shipping & receiving functions as applicable • Analyze past & current budget data & drive continuous operational efficiencies, standardizations, & process improvements to maximize bottom line value. • Supply Chain evaluation & supply system innovation.
